Young man Ranveer “Ronnie” Chaturvedi lives with his older brother Vikram. Ronnie has been protective of him since he was a child, especially after their father died. When he is offered a job with the police, Ronnie declines because he has a violent past. Instead, he convinces Vikram to take the job. Vikram, who joins the police force reluctantly and timidly, witnesses a violent incident on his first day, which introduces him to the criminal IPL. Ronnie assures Vikram of his safety and takes him to the location where they fight the criminals together when a hostage situation arises. Vikram is terrified to face the criminals when he is given the job.
